No Florida players in the first two rounds. This has got to be another all time record for Florida set by the moron head coach we have. Reality is going to set in with our team and all these guys with NFL aspirations are going to realize that if they want to move on they’re going to have to move on because this numb skull isn’t going to be the person to make that happen. Billy is not, never was and never will be SEC head coach capable.

I'm no Napier nut hugger at all, but the lion's share of our best talent is underclassmen. And they guys that could have gone pro and been high round picks, like Caleb Banks, decided to return and help to try and continue to create upward trajectory and momentum for the program. This is the "prove it" year for Napier, no doubt, but the program showed signs of life in the second half of the season. They're talented and need to take the next step.

Some of the posters on this site have the patience of a gnat. Attitudes like this are the reason Florida has been in a rut for fifteen years. However, if you watched your team last year, you made tremendous strides and this year your outlook looks very good.
Give the guy a fair shake before you pull the plug.

I would hope he was born aftet 1990 considering he is a grandpa.

Also, you must have been born in the 1990s if you don't remember the dominant Gator teams of the 80's, that our trash conference singled out for spanking

UF has been in a rut because they hire coaches from the bargain bin and most of the elite players from FL started going to OOS programs in droves.

Napier is not going to wow you with his gameday coaching. I think he should have been fired long ago, as I can tell we were not a well coached team from his very first game. We got a stupid penalty on the first play.

But, he turned the team around last season and they started playing pretty good football. No, not championship level, but top 15 -20 level. The players all love him and we have minimal off the field issues. He works his arse off, and if nothing else, he has shown more grace under fire than any coach I have ever seen. If we can continue to play the way we did in the 2nd half of the season, he can coach at UF until he retires imo.

I know he can't call plays worth a shite, but any coach that can get the players to bring their A game every week is a pretty good coach.

We will see if he can keep it going.

The Florida roster and talent has slowly improved every year he's been there.

And his gameday coaching will probably get better in time, he's still a young coach.

Hopefully Florida fires him soon.
