He's an LSU fan, they'll let him back at some point.

I didn’t realize there was a peer-reviewed, scientific study which confirmed Alabama thinks of LSU as a rival more than LSU does Bama. Interesting.

We don't have a clearcut arch rival.

Some say Ole Miss.
Most of the blue hairs who would say Tulane are dead now.
Some hate Bama more than others so that's their pick.
Some (me) think Florida is the dregs of society and are a clear enemy #1.

These are the only candidates.

We all think the idea of losing to A+m is loathsome and abominable, so aggee sometimes mistakes this as a notable rivalry.

The stuff with A&M was mostly just because of Jimbo's jackassery.

It was a meh matchup under Sumlin.

OU is the odd man out bc they don’t have much history with anyone , but someone has to play them on thanksgiving.

Mizzou has far more history with OU than Arkansas, wouldn't be shocked if they put that matchup in rivalry week

That would be great and let us play lsu again.

OU should play Oklahoma State

And Missouri should play Kansas

Those are real rivalry games worth keeping

At this point I'm cool with all that and reverting back to our Friday game with Arkansas.

Arkansas game eventually wore me down and was like a comfortable pairs of shoes.

Shoes that frick their sister, but still.

I am 72 and have been attending LSU games since I was 9 (1960). LSU's biggest rival was never Tulane in those years.

IMO, LSU has no agreed-upon rival in football. But I can say this after attending many LSU games in SEC venues: a lot of fans at Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M hate LSU.

Who do they play after this year? Saw this this probably the last A&M vs LSU game on thanksgiving. They didn’t want to continue it. Ole Miss or Bama?

I would suggest Tulane!

The deal with Bama is that Bama, in typical arrogant redneck manner, acts like they’re too good to call it that, yet how many years do they face each other, both undefeated or close, and it’s the #1 game to watch or close to it?

When I was a kid, we played Arky the Friday after Thanksgiving. Wouldn't mind going back to that. Good fans on their side for sure.

Because we do football much, much better than they do and it eats them alive.
