Having his number retired was straight up ridiculous. Just another example of dad pimping him.

This was noted as another concern in a few articles. The kid has literally never been in an environment not stage managed and controlled by his dad.
How does that translate to an NFL locker room where a staff may not want Deion barging in all the time? I know several NFL execs spoke to the media about Shadeur's list of conditions and demands. That may seem normal to the kid given his upbringing but does not foreshadow a great teammate and leader for whoever drafts him.

It's funny, there is a meme of Colorado's stadium and instead of list Shaduer it just says Deion's Son in big letters.

How soon after Prime Time is gone does his kid's name get ripped off that wall?

I'm wondering how long until Deion retires now that he's not trying to get his kid an NFL role.

He’ll probably expect the team that drafts him to retire his number.

He's made himself entirely hateable. Nobody likes his dumbass.
But, is it really his fault? His dad is the most self absorbed human on the planet.

This shows how liberal and detached from athletics is the administration of Colorado U.
Retired jersey? They don't care, do whatever Deion says. What a joke. Feel sorry for old school Buff fans.

I believe you’ve probably nailed the big issue…if you’re a coach, general manager, team owner…are you really willing to be publicly called out in all the media…,ESPN, social media, et al…(Steven Smith has probably already written his piece blaming the white folks.) anytime Deion and son aren’t happy with the play calling, the other players, team issues, the ownership. As they are doing already? The kids got a weak arm and mobility issues in addition to the widely reported attitude problems. The NFL will eat him alive, then it will be everyone else’s fault. Who needs that toxicity?

My daughter and Deion's girl were teammates on a 6A high school basketball team in the DFW area.
Deion would show up to games with his bodyguard, both of them dressed way down like bums, wearing hoodies. Deion would head straight to the top corner of the stands and would never interact with any of the parents. He just stayed to himself and wouldn't speak to you or even make eye contact if he had to walk up next to you. Polar opposite of his TV persona.
Never liked the dude after seeing him like that.

Shows you what a great parent Archie Manning was.

Someone mentioned how Jalen Hurts slipped to the 2nd round, so it's not the end of the world. The difference in personality couldn't be more stark. Jalen is a worker who turns every slight into an opportunity to prove you made a mistake. Sanders ain't that. Scouts said Sanders interviewed about as badly as they've ever heard. If you don't come across as a hard worker who can lead others from the QB position, you will drop like a rock.
Hurts was considered a bargain who fell into the Eagles' lap early in the 2nd round. The Sanders odyssey isn't over, but whoever takes this pompous fool will have the GM and owner holding their nose and praying for the best.

Sander’s reminds me of the AAU kids whose dad was head coach. Good players but they are totally faultless and always fade out at highest competitive levels.
Instead of AAU at the high school level, same thing will happen to Shaduer in NFL. He’ll be out of the league in 3 years max.
