Brian Kelly: "We're Not in the Market of Buying Players" After LSU's Portal Issues

If Tennessee has the best collective in the country, why are their recruiting classes not reflecting that?

I'm not trolling, I'm saying that "local sports radio guys" are notorious for being wrong. I doubt Vitello has even actually signed the extension yet as I'm sure he wants to focus on the task at hand. He'll likely sign it after tonight and it will be announced shortly.

Brian Rice, the guy who said it, isn’t your typical local sports radio guy. He’s employed by UT/The vol network and is the radio play by play guy for the Lady Vols basketball/softball. He’s not one to throw shite out there.

Don’t run away when Vitello’s extension is announced within the week. I’m taking receipts.

Most Texas and Midwest media members think Vitello is untouchable and they have moved on already.

NIL is just getting started.

We got the NCAA out of the way for everyone.

Now you and 'We Don't Pay Players Kelly' can sit back and watch.

You feel they are not? Don’t confuse renting recruiting classes with building recruiting classes. If renting them worked TAMU would be looking to 3 peat this year.

It’s Schloss. The deal is done.
I don't think Texas would have made the firing announcement until after the CWS if it were JS.

He would have had an unwritten agreement not to create a distraction.

Not really, it's been a few years.

It seems like the "best NIL collective in the country" and the best "athletic department in the country", which Tennesse fans constantly tell us they have, would be dominating recruiting.

Instead, they're just getting average results.

I've seen some smoke that it's actually Skip Johnson.

Texas coaching searches are the absolute best entertainment.
Neither of those guys are coming here but I'm quite confident CDC will find the right guy. Best thing for one to do is just take a chill pill and wait for the announcement. All this ridiculous speculation is a bit retarded.

'We Don't Pay Players Kelly' and you need to just sit back and enjoy the show.

Kelly's playing with their butts on the dance floor will have the recruits lining up.

If it's Bakich, Vaughn or Johnson they would have already been announced. Teams have been hitting the transfer portal for players since their seasons ended. The only way it's one of these guys is if they are fall back options when Schloss and/or Vitello say no.

He certainly has outrecruited the "top NIL collective in the country" and the "best athletic department in the country" every year.
