Is this really going to be sustainable? It's hard to imagine there are that many billboards for small town auto dealerships and insurance agents to be filled; 30 second spots on small media market radio stations in the greater Tuscaloosa area; and appearances at the grand opening of the west branch of the local bank in Athens.

I agree with most of your post, but is any of this really what NIL as we know it is about?

ETA: that’s the kind of thing I would have been okay with, and how (I think) NIL advocates sold it. People being people, ways to pervert the change were immediately discovered/created, of course.

"Sources"
Lulz, I remember all the speculation about how much NIL Arch was getting and people believed it as gospel truth.

Breaking: Sources have told NIL Tracker that Dia Bell was offered a $9.2 million dollar NIL Deal to attend and play football at the University of Texas.
Those numbers aren’t accurate. And, the bulk of the value for QB packages is coming from corporate NIL partners (I.e. United Airlines, Yeti, Hey Dude, etc) rather than our collective.

They got all that Arch money they didn't end up spending, so why not?

Who was running around here a few weeks ago bragging about the free Lambos?

I’m sure the Horns were, and you guys were probably on it .02 seconds after.
