No reason to doubt he can be successful at Bama. The league has got so many talented coaches.

Most talented team, most dedicated to winning school/fanbase, great resume.

Bama ain’t going anywhere.

He looks and acts just like the general manager of a used car lot in Salt Lake City who is active in civic groups.

Oh yeah!!! I know that guy!

The Saban era is over.
The Debo time is near.

September is just around the corner.

Bama isn't going anywhere in the sense they'll still be a top tier program.

Will they win a championship every other year on average like they did from 2009-2020?

No, I think THAT level of dominance has ended. Bama had perhaps the longest dynasty in CFB history with 6 titles in 12 seasons. While they'll still be among the top teams every year, I don't think we'll see that from them or anyone else going forward.

I think that dominance is gone…..from all of College Football. Kirby would have the best chance but adding to the playoff will hamper those odds as well. Playoffs don’t give you a true champion. It’s just whoever gets hot at the time. Ask the undefeated Patriots that lost the Super Bowl to the Giants…..

Wasn't that the exact same point spread for the SEC championship game?

"something something our wide receivers were hurt". I'm sure you've heard that excuse before?

Injuries are half the battle dummy. You just saw your best receiver and tight end limp around the SECCG. Did it matter in the end? Not making it an excuse just means you move on, but injuries change everything in a heartbeat.

Why can’t Bama fans understand that they no longer have the GOAT? Just the mental confidence other teams will gain knowing Saban isn’t on the sidelines will make a difference.

I’m sure the new coach is great, but he’s not Nick Saban, nor will he ever be.

Bama will be fine for the next few years. No different than when Saban left LSU stocked with great players and the reputation that goes with it.

DeBoer has already won 8 championships.
