I won't say it's impossible but I'd rather stay at Florida.

Mullen is not leaving a program he had to work his arse off to rebuild for another rebuild. That would be insane.

Urban is going to Texas. Josh Prat has been all over it for a month now and he seems to be very reliable in terms of not speaking unless there is a lot behind it.

I'll believe it when I see it. But I agree that $12m a year would be hard to pass up, if true. Sports media would lose their mind if a school paid a football coach that much.

I think his failure to rag on Texas the last week with his fellow co-hosts is telling. I will say the health issues are not real, because if they were that fanbase will be the death of him.

I expect it to happen, because Texas is just that desperate at this point. But Harbaugh was supposed to be the savior for Michigan, and that didn't pan out. I believe NO coach can fix Texas and it's incredibly entitled fans. Not even Meyer.

No way. Mullen is king in the state of Florida right now so why leave to start another rebuild job. After a few years, maybe, but still very doubtful.

Texas continuing to overvalue itself and never setting realistic expectations. With so much changing in 2020 it’s good to see somethings never change

It would make no sense to leave Florida for Texas. In this day and age Florida is the better program.

I think it would be a smart move for Mullen, the big 12 is an easy path to playoff like dabo has in acc.

Texas is a sleeping giant and got more money than Florida. Aloe Austin is just a tad bit nicer than Gainesville.

Why? You go from 5 good teams you have to play a year to maybe 2 or 3. And you are Texas so you are automatically considered in the play off conversation.

Urban goes to usc and Mullen stays put at the better job.

Texas Charlie strongs themself again with someone like Pj Fleck

Fleck does his raw raw thing for the boosters and fans... gets on more year than he should after going .500 over 3 years at Texas....

Texas looks for a new coach in 2023... again, go after a pipe dream and end up selling yourself on the same middle of the pack coach you hired before

Lol who would trade the sec for big 12 atp esp when he has a AD he already gets along with well

Also big time football renovations finally ready next year I think. Fla is def where he wants. Things have only gotten better since his arrival.

Zero chance

Sounds like something that Mullins' agent is floating to get him a raise.

ut should give Bob Stoops a call. looks like he wants to coach

Retired Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops made a brief return to the field on Tuesday, coach Lincoln Riley said. "We brought Coach Stoops out of retirement today," Riley said at his weekly news conference. "He was out on the field and coached with us today. It was great to have him out there."
