This is not gonna be easy . It’s so hard to end a great teams season . I will say it seems like this lsu team is on a mission though and it feels like our coaching has been top notch

Huge advantage for Florida today. Wind howling out to center with that powerful lineup and a bullpen day from LSU.

Waldrep with the nasty splitter throwing a sub 1 ERA this postseason. He shut us down in Hattiesburg last year for 7 innings even though we eventually won that game.

You guys had some great at bats getting our starter's pitch count up yesterday, and Waldrep is even more of a strikeout guy, so his pitch count can get up there quickly. Some of our other relievers are good but can be a little wild, and you guys have been really good at laying off pitches out of the strike zone. I think it ends today. Our bats are just not there. Sucks to go cold when playing for the championship, but you also have to credit the great pitching.

One thing so far this CWS is the badassery on the mound for most of the games. The pitching has been filthy across the board.

Tonight could mean 3 years in a row for an SEC West team to win the CWS. Geaux Tigers

That's what has worried me this whole series. Our inability to get hits, for one, and then when we do we leave them on the bases...too much reliance on a homer and you can't do that against a team as balanced as LSU.

And Ty Floyd was excellent, but at some point our hitters needed to stop chasing that upstairs fastball. How many damn strikeouts does it take to pick up on the trend? Sheesh

It happens every single time we get to Omaha. Even in 2017.

I mean we had elite pitching in 2017 lol - look who was on that staff...

Alex Faedo
Brady Singer
Jackson Kowar
Michael Byrne
Tyler Dyson - freshman who literally came out of nowhere in that tournament and was money

Anything in the air will play today. 30mph winds blowing straight out to CF. Should be an interesting watch.

Gators should have the pitching advantage today with Waldrep going. LSU would be smart to try and get his pitch count up and get him out early.

The top of our line up is really due for a big day, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

We’ve been saying this for over a week now.

At some point it is what it is - bats went cold at the worst time for our 3 best hitters

Local BR radio guy says it's the strongest wind he's seen in Omaha since he's been going in '96. Just dropped a little coin on over 10 runs just for the frick of it.
