Looks like there are some $15 pay lots on Blizell over by the Arch Quad. Those any good?

I didn't realize you cold park in any lots over there on game day; but if you can, The Quad is indeed very close to Kyle.

A&M has a much prettier campus than Texas or Tech as they don't really have any more trees than we do or the land we have.
Both schools' architecture blows ours out of the water. Texas and Tech have far more aesthetically pleasing campuses.

I agree on architecture as a whole but Texas is a very crowded campus that is all buildings on top of each other, many of which aren't anything special. Texas is cool because it is in downtown Austin but the campus itself is almost claustrophobic. Tech has a really nice entry but the majority of the campus is uninspired. It's also in the craphole of Lubbock with dust storms and dry weather.
I'd probably put SMU as the nicest campus in Texas with Rice right there as well. Both of them are very small though.
We do have way too much Soviet style architecture still but it is slowly being replaced. The Bush Library, Research Park, and the Systems Building are all really nice as well.

I believe it is still $10 to park over at St. Mary's lot on the corner of Nagle & Church St. on Northgate. Those lots on Blizell are pretty much the same distance from the tailgates as that Catholic lot, but St. Mary's is more convenient to starting out and ending up at the bars and they won't tow you until Sunday morning before church, whereas the University will tow your arse out of their lots if you leave it overnight. If you come early enough, you can park on the street in the neighborhoods behind Northgate. I do it all the time. Just watch the parking signs.

He's talking about the lots up there between University Dr. and the Bonfire Memorial. The Architecture Quad, not THE Quad. It's confusing because we don't actually call that the Architecture Quad.

yeah in that case St. Mary's is better. I park at a friend's by the school south of campus, works for me.
