Why do they love Sam Pitman so much?

For the same reason I love my wife: she has big tits and she sucks.

Arky has some major Auburn butthurt but no.

I dont consider them rivals at all. I actually felt bad for them when Nix's backwards pass wasn't ruled a fumble. Never again.

I'd rather LSU play Arkansas on the last weekend of the season again instead of A&M or Oklahoma.

I haven’t stepped foot in War Memorial since the Sugar Bowl play-in game. I figure that was a good last memory of that place.

Arky fans say "no." They'll say it's forced, but in reality the only thing forced on the gridiron is our foot on their neck.
You know your program has no history when you claim a rivalry against a school you've never played because an insurance company told you to.

Hate you all. Not really. I’m with jayag. I don’t bitterly hate the ags as much as I do horns. Think it depends on sports. Basketball, love the Arkansas- UK series. Football, really dislike LSU, Auburn, ole miss, and Texas. Baseball: Texas and ole miss. But with the changing landscape of sports, the bitter “rivalry” feeling is kinda going away. I like when we beat teams, but don’t have the passion i used to.

We don’t love Pittman as a coach, great man though.

Not as much as gooner or aggy, but definitely a rival

As an OU fan...I think getting Texas vs. Arkansas back is my favorite non OU thing about OU and Texas joining the SEC.

In the 1960s... Texas beat OU nine out of ten times... with OU's former QB being the head coach...

So Arkansas was our proxy team. We rooted hard for Arkansas against Texas since Texas beat us the week before.

Then the '69 game at the end of the year. Epic... even though the Texas won the game.

I wish OU and Arkansas had gotten to play each other. It is a rivalry that should have happened and just never did. .

100% agree. Baffles me we haven't played each other hardly at all. Has the makings of one of those mutually cordial rivalries written all over it.

I was 2-3 yo still in diapers attending my first away Texas game. 1987 or 1988… on the way out of the game, parents had to shield me for my own protection from batteries being thrown by Arkansas fans from the top bleachers… it’s my first memory, that moment turned my brain on… definitely a rival

A few years ago, I thought maybe Muss vs Pearl would turn into something, but with Bama being good, and Cal going to Arkansas, that possibility kind of died down.

I don't have to tell myself anything. That's literally what happened.

Not our fault your entire identity was hating Kansas.

The "not caring" excuse gets used more than the Chad Morris one, but just slightly.

Bonus Questions: Would Arkansas-Kentucky qualify as an old rivalry reignited by Cal?

No. We aren't rivals.

Don't play enough in football and hatred is lacking there as well as basketball

That was the quietest I’ve ever heard our stadium on the walk out after the game. I’ll never forgot it because it was so eerie.

What does Chad Morris have to do with Missouri fans claiming a rivalry with a team they'd played 5 times in the history of college football?
