Better question what if UGA loses and Carson back goes down with an injury?

I’ve actually thought about this too if UGA ends up with three losses and they’ve already lost to Alabama and Ole Miss then how can you put them in over Alabama and Ole Miss?
Because Georgia didn't lose to Oklahoma and Vanderbilt and Kentucky and LSU.

I know I thought with 12 teams in the playoffs that there would be less controversy but it seems the playoff picture is even more convoluted
This. Some of yall were saying this at the beginning of the year but I didn’t get it at the time. I do now though, the SEC schedule is just tougher than any other conference’s schedule.
But in the case of Georgia, I don’t think any team should be penalized for making it to the SEC ccg. That’s just ludicrous to me.

One unmentioned difference is that UGA would be 10-3 if they lose the SECCG compared to 9-3 for Alabama, Ole Miss, and South Carolina.

This just happened to them last year and if they lose to Texas next week I still think it could happen again this year. I hope I'm wrong but I don't trust the powers that be with this.
I don't think it's going to matter though, I believe Georgia is going to beat Texas Saturday

On Friday night during the Tech game the TV commentators said numerous times, “win and you’re in!”. Then the next morning Heather Dinish (sp) said on sports center multiple times, “ Georgia is not guaranteed anything..”. I think that had to do with the Tx/ A&M game. If A&M would’ve won, and then beat UGA in the SECCG, UGA would’ve got bounced..that’s not going to happen!
UGA is in!
UGA is in!

10-3 > 9-3 that’s how.

No. Georgia is a lock for the playoffs regardless what happens Saturday. You came to Austin and dominated the number two team in the country. Ga deserves to be in the playoffs and you will be

More than likely, they'll drop us to a spot where we have to go to Tuscaloosa and play.
Then Bama will go and play Boise for an automatic final four spot.
OR
We play whomever, win, and then have to play Texas again.
If we do make it, they'll make sure we get screwed.

Georgia is 100% in.
B1G = 4 (Ore, PSU, OSU, Indy)
SEC = 3 (Tx, Ga, Tn)
G5 = 1 (Boise or UNLV)
B12 = 1 (ASU or ISU)
ACC = 1 (SMU or Clem)
Indy = 1 (Notre Dame)
That leaves 1 spot left.
11-2 SMU (if Clemson wins)
or
10-2 Miami
9-3 Alabama
9-3 Ole Miss
9-3 South Carolina
We all know who that spot is going too..

The committee has proven repeatedly throughout the years that, with the exception of FSU last year, the only number they care about is the number in the loss column.

No way. We will not be left out.
