You're the exact reason why he's saying "people are scared" because he acts like a street guy on the field and show boats and dances (acts like a "Thug" as some people call it). Most guys like that are wild guys who get in trouble off of the field and act ignorant to the media, but he doesn't. He actually comes off as nice a guy and people don't know how to accept that what he's doing isn't a bad thing. Stop thinking black people have to be either gangsters or uncle Toms. People don't understand how he's so versatile as a person.

People don't like him because he is a showman.
He is Neon Deon at the QB position.
He is loud.
He is obnoxious.
He is in your face.
He is GOOD.
Some people don't like him because he is african-american sure, but those same people dislike ALL black people.
So his comment of "haven't seen nothing like me before" is completely untrue.
I love Cam. I dislike his statement.
I will not pretend to know what it feels like in his shoes but he is completely unaware of himself if he truly thinks his skin color is the issue.
There are just as many people who love him BECAUSE he is a black QB.

I neither agree or disagree with what he is saying and I am white.
What does that make me

No it's not. Name 1 other successful NFL QB who is black that has had his success as well as all the other traits you listed above.

You missed the point of my post.
The people Cam is referring to are racists...
Racists see black people every single day and hate them all equally because they are miserable POS.
Doesn't matter if you are a WR, a OL, DE, RB or QB.

When he said "nothing like me", did you mean "a black QB who has swag on and off the field and is excelling at the highest level" or did he mean a "6'5, 245 lb battering ram who also has a laser arm and makes all the throws"?
Because I could see either one, because either one is true, but they are totally different statements.

He's playing the race card because he's an attention whore.

It would be more "scarier" and more rare and unusual if there were a WHITE QB with his skill set.
The ones who have come closest: Steve Young, Archie Manning, Fran Tarkenton, Kaepernick
FWIW. Randall Cunningham had a similar skill set.
Vince Young did in college.
Warren Moon threw a better ball.

Yea like that dumbass lady who thought he was doing pelvic thrusts. How the hell was she even capable of thinking she saw a damn pelvic thrust. That's just purely being unaware socially. Made her self look dumb.

Well, to be fair to racists, they do tend to hate the successful black people more. I seen't it
My personal policy with racism (irl) is to ignore it. Arguing with/answering stupid people rarely ends well and usually leads to extended kerfuffles. That's what works for me.
I don't have a problem with those who choose to answer the peanut gallery, though, if you will. That's Cam's style, and he's built a profitable career out of it.

Nitpicking here, but Kaep is mixed (black father, white mother). He was adopted by a white family, though.

Yeah I should have just stayed out of it lol.
Your assessment is definitely more correct than mine.
How do you feel about there being "just as many people who love Cam BECAUSE he is a black QB"?

I guess you missed the sarcasm. The fact that he, like most other people, can't simply be put in a box was my exact point. There are facets of his personality I find very endearing and there are parts that I don't like. Neither the parts I like nor the parts I don't have nothing to do with his being black and everything to do with him being like the rest of us except that he's on a really big stage.
As far as fear? I don't fear him at all and wish him nothing but success from this point forward. To be clear since you mistook my earlier - the this point forward refers to the fact that he's no longer at Auburn. He was a real PITA back then....

They aren't the same, but the comparisons with Vick are more interesting than any of the others to me. However, Vick was not as affable off camera as Cam (was actually pretty shy), and so all people knew him for were his on-field exploits.
And then of course the stuff that ended the superstar portion of his career.

Don't like that fact at all, either. It's annoying because he'd be a good QB based on a myriad of things other than his melanin count. Feel the same annoyance at folks who go all "great white hope" with white RBs or who don't give white slot receivers credit for being burners.
Was talking with Roger Klarvin about this last night--feels like people older than he and I would be quicker to fixate on an athlete's race, whereas the younger generation only cares about mastering the dab or the whip/nae nae the athlete of the hour is doing
