I think they should probably win a championship before they act like theyve gone farther.

It's interesting that a Bama fan would equate facing 2020 Bama to 2024 Georgia with 2 losses and a backup quarterback.

Not defending Bama, but a lot of UGA folks posted in here that losing Beck was no big deal. That’s just stupid. It was a huge deal

They have won more
playoff games and not gone any further
both of those things are true.
Kelly has been to the NCG and the CFP a combined 3 times and i think he’s lost to the eventual NC ever time. Not a great track record but it’s not like he’s crashing out to Indiana.

It’s dumb to compare Round of 12 and quarterfinal playoff games under the current system to Final four and championship game appearances under the old system. Kelly would have a bunch of playoff wins if he had gotten to play lower teams like Indiana in the “playoffs”. Not to mention a chance at playing someone in the quarters with a backup QB.

Give Kelly some credit. When he took over the program it was shite if I remember and he built it back to respectability. Beat all the teams he should. I think what Freeman has brought is that ND can now compete with the big boys. He’s 2-2 against AP top-5 opponents, and even the losses were competitive whereas Kelly was 1-7 vs top 5 I believe. So the argument for Freeman would be he raised the ceiling for them

I always thought Kelley was a good coach hes a demanding a-hole much like Saban but hes always blaming people and that shite gets old. Not sure if it works anymore. Freeman to me has a much better style of coaching and hes done well and will continue to be the better coach. LSU did ND a favor.
