Yeah we got beat fair and square, but EASILY could've won that game.

2. The mulligan of this century was a 2 loss LSU team with losses to Kentucky and then Arkansas at home in the last regular season game getting to play for a national title.

We actually did get a small piece of hardware on the way to that title that Alabama did not get in 2011.

And plus, Matt Flynn's cute little 2 yard pass in the endzone in the 3rd overtime of the Arkansas game didn't really help much. I guess you could say we beat ourselves.

Your post is just too deliciously naive and revisionist. The people that couldn't accept the result were Bama fans. Did you come on here after you guys lost? Didn't one of your major boards lock out LSU fans.

Part of me sees the divine plan in Bama winning the rematch. It would have basically destroyed many of the clinically insane in your fanbase.

Yeah but Alabama got the best hardware in College Football. keep thinking the SEC Championship is bigger than the NCG.

And we could have easily won if miles had played lee instead of jefferson. See how stupid that sounds?

Boy y'all sure do hang your hat on a regular season game, I'm sorry your team couldn't get up for the biggest game in your "storied" programs history.

I could say the same thing for you. College football has long been about losing early. The time of your loss is all that separates LSU and Bama in this debate. It happens all the time and is hard to get too mad about. I'm glad an SEC team could beat LSU and not any of those other rancid conferences. If I got to pick which team did it, Bama would be dead last based on the fact that their fans are simultaneously the sorest winners and losers in the conference. The meltdown after 2010 USC for y'all was delicious. I look forward to the scheduled at least 3 losses that is Saban's MO this upcoming season.

I never said it was, and I don't believe it is. But, unless you're Bama, one generally follows the other.

yeah cause you easily got through 4qtrs of easy football and decided to give us the win. Delusional much?
Any rational football fan would agree that 11/5 was a tough game for both teams and that LSU capitalized on UA mistakes and that was the reason for the W.

Most objective fans notice that Bama played better and moved the ball better, and LSU was lucky to win. Statistics back this up.

Once again, you came out behind the home crowd and dominated the 1st quarter. From the start of the 2ndQ to the end of the game, LSU fricking OUTGAINED bama. Statistics back this up

Is there ONE bama fan that will admit that alabama got beat fair and square by LSU in Bryant Denny last november?

Yes, because we did.

Not this one.

The thing is the BCS is/was in place so that 1&2 play in the game. If you think that LSU and Alabama weren't the best in the country last year you are sadly mistaken. Hell I even said that a few days before 11/5 when I was telling all the LSU fans to have a safe trip.

No matter what happens after Saturday both teams still should be 1&2 and either way will end that way at the end of the season.

11 wins 1 loss to LSU. you really are stupid aren't you. Panties still in a pinch huh.
12 wins (one against UA) 1 mulligan loss
see we have more wins and same amount of losses.
go get your GED already.

Alabama: home of the best of two series. Better not lose one, guys!

On a lighter note, the best of two is as worthless as the proverbial one-legged man in an arse kicking contest.
