Has anyone really thought about why they are so good this year? Well I’ll tell you.

Auburn average age of there starting lineup is 23 years old. You know who has a starting lineup that has an average age of 24 in the Basketball? The Oklahoma City Thunder.

Auburn Grown arse men playing against kids! It’s actually embarrassing if they don’t actually win the national title this year.

Age of Auburn players
Broome- 22
Baker-Mazara- 25
Cardwell- 23
Moore- 23
Kelly- 24
Jones- 24
Hudson- 24
Williams- 22

Just to put it in perspective, Luka Donic is 25 years old with 5 all NBA selections.

The fact that some of you are just discovering this is precious.
That one tweet this morning turned on lightbulbs for many of you slow folks.

Wait, what?! That is embarrassing. I can’t imagine being 25 in college and talking trash to 18-year-old future NBA players.

There truly is no excuse for Auburn not to win the title with this group of middle aged men. When you have 5-6 years on your competition, that’s a huge edge.

What the hell does the team even look like next year when all these 7th year players finally move on with their lives?

Informative post. I don’t know if he did it on purpose, but smart coaching by Pearl.

Everyone Tennessee plays other than Phillips and Okpara is a 4th or 5th year guy. 8 guys average 10 minutes and 6 of them are seniors, 1 a junior and 1 a sophomore.

Broome, CBM, Hudson, Jones, and Johnson were all spotted at lessor programs. Pearl saw something in them and they have improved at under his tutelage.

Williams is on the scout squad.

I'd bet the average roster age across the country is higher than it has ever been this season thanks to the culmination of the Covid year and NIL bringing marginal NBA players back.

Tennessee fans have no room to talk. It is like they don't even know their own team.

Yeah, I think that along with the transfer portal and basically free agency now. I'd say average age of rosters is up across the board. As of right now, it seems like transfers are more valuable because you have some idea of what you are getting. Someone else puts in time to develop the players and you get a more finished product. Has to suck for a lot of high school players. More players will be going mid major or DII out of high school at least short term.

Hold that L little fella! This is what happens when you don’t have the refs helping you. You have grown arse men in their peak prime playing against kids and you think it’s an accomplishment to win games when you have a roster as old as NBA rosters.

And it’s even funnier when people talked shite about Knecht last year because of his age and he was just 22. Lol

Broome is a true senior tho. It’s normal to be 18/turn 19 as a freshman, 19/20, 20/21, 21/22 as a senior.
