quote:Correct.
That’s the dance team
We have Yell Leaders.
We have a dance team.
We have a cheer squad.
Each serves a different purpose. We are content with that.

Until you just posted those pics, I would be willing to bet that every non ATM fan had no idea that they even existed.
There is this thing on your computer called "Google" that can help you from sounding ignorant on the rant. I figured most people know not to believe everything they read on here.

They are three-time national champions. Everyone in the cheerleading world knows who they are

One could only hope so ...

They don’t even think it’s weird. So they don’t view it as a problem.
Case in point.

Gross but still better than milk men

Your obsesion over A&M's Yell Leaders is noted.

Dance team, not cheerleaders. TAMU does not have male or female cheerleaders. They have Dance Team and YELL leaders.
And their role does not extend to football games, nor does that of the dance team.
This should not be so difficult for you people to grasp.

Now the better question is why those ATM chicks are not front and center on gameday?
Probably bc the TV cameras focus on the unique. It’s the same reason why the cameras always pan over to the Corps, despite the fact that they’re a small percentage of the student body.
We can’t control what you’re shown.

FFS, the Dance Team and the Cheer Squad are NOT the same girls.
The Dance Team is basically like NFL cheerleaders. Choreographed dance routines set to music. They are officially part of the Athletic Department.
The Cheer Squad is competitive cheer. More athletic. Towers and tosses and pyramids and such. They are NOT officially part of the Athletic Department.
A routine from the Dance Team bears as much resemblance to a routine of the Cheer Squad as a polka bears to the jitterbug.
And we ALSO have the Diamond Darlings for baseball.
The Yell Leaders are for football. The Yell Leaders are unique. We like that. You don't. We don not care about your opinion.

You can ask for anything, just doesn't mean you're going to get it. Plus, unless you're in the student section, cheerleaders are overrated.

Those traditions make for great entertainment for the rest of us. I say “keep.”

Those yell leaders do not scream "football" to anyone but Aggies. I guess you are proud of being "unique" in that way. You can rest assured nobody will copy that.

That would eliminate half of the LSU posts here.

Actually they do have a role at the football games. They are part of the line of people that the football players run through when they run out on the field from the tunnel before the game starts
In this picture, they are holding the maroon flags

Hey, I can agree with a Texas fan on something.

Always possible that I am mistaken.

They aren't what you're "famous" for.

You must care. You posted reams of memes. BTW you post like you are seriously mentally retarded.

Some people are just followers.
But tradition is embraced A&M.
I actually think it’s likely that a woman or women gets elected to be yell leaders sometime in the near future.
