That is an awful lot of hate. You might want to consider letting some of that go.

In the swc it was little ole Arkansas against the entire state of texas so there was animosity there. In the SEC everyone is on somewhat equal footing so it’s game to game, even though I really liked the LSU Thanksgiving games. I’m disgusted missou was forced on us and took away a good thing. LSU should be mad about it too because they would have rolled us every Thanksgiving because at the end of the year our team quit.

Our biggest rival , without a doubt, is reality. Every season. Every sport.

That sounds very familiar. SEC tried to make arky a big game for LSU but it will always be the least exciting for the Tigers.

Texas, LSU, Ole Miss.

The rest are situational/sport dependent. I wouldn't have said Ole Miss growing up, but I've come to notice both fanbases certainly have rivalry week energy when the games come around.

Kentucky definitely feels like the prominent basketball rivalry, even before Cal. Probably because we were the only other school that gave a shite for a long time when we first joined and actually had a team/coach that could push those early 90's Pitino Kentucky squads.

The SEC forced it on both programs.

Texas and Ole Miss.

The rest are way down the list.

our true rival is Oklahoma, who has been utterly terrified to play us in 100 years

we're 3 and a half hours away, and we've only played about four times, mostly in bowls

The is the true comprehensive list in descending order:

Nice things
Stadium debates
The Arkansas media
Texas
Each other
LSU when we’re both good
Kentucky when we’re good at basketball
Ole Miss in baseball or when one of us is good at football
Aggie when we lose
Our own politicians
Oklahoma drivers
Not Mizzou when we lose
Mizzou when we win

I would prefer they’re not but the SEC is shoving them down our throat. It’ll stick after 20-30 years. Especially in the part of the state that borders Missouri. Lots of Hog and Mizzou fans on both sides of the line.

It's funny because if you live south of Fayetteville, you'd never know Mizzou fans even exist in real life.

My answer for football and every sport really: Texas

Basketball you could actually make an argument for Kentucky, but it would be narrowed down to that sport. Not necessarily just a recency thing - some really great battles between the 2 through the 90s. Started rekindling a little during the Mike and Muss eras. Cal getting tossed at Bud. Ashley Judd calling our team thugs. Who could forget Aaron Harrison getting punked by random arkansas fan

Yes because at one point some of the games determined who went to Atlanta.
