Wait and watch. Walmart will not be involved.
You may or may not be right but 'Wal-Mart' doesn't have to be involved for some of the Waltons to be.

Hilarious that you guys think this puts you over the hump.

4 Fortune 500 companies with close ties to a school trumps 25 who might be in the same state but have comparatively little to do with that school.
So Arkansas is all of a sudden a fortune 500 hub? Would you really wanna graduate from a school in a state with 20 as opposed to 4? I imagine Arkansas has been trying to leverage all those "networking opportunities" with those 4 companies for years. How's that working out for ya?

Arkansas athletics is superior to UGA in just about every other male sport. The support of the Waltons and Tysons has had a lot to do with that. Stop melting my friend.

Right? I guess some of them have already moved on from the NC celebrations just because tFlagship is getting ready to upgrade and set sail.

Son, as much fun as it is to see you break down and cry maybe you should realize that you are making yourself look like more of a fool than usual.
Is... is this some sort of sexual kink thing we should know about? You say something stupid, we mock you, you get off on it? If it is have the decency to tell us so we can at least charge you money for it. If not, by all means, continue, I haven't been this amused by a melt since the last big porn bomb I was lucky enough to catch on here.

Wow.Seems like your getting some type of sexual gratification from my post. Weird by whatever.
Who knew Arkansas fans were so insecure?
Sorry,if I hit a raw nerve.Must be Daddy/Mommy issues.

How fricking stupid are you?
There is a reason Northwest Arkansas is the top place to live in the SEC footprint.
I checked this morning and you were melting then...Checking now just after noon and you are still melting.
You're an embarrassment to your fan base, and I enjoy dog fans.

Arkansas has Arkansas and Arkansas State
All 4 of the F500 companies have UA grads as CEO's Presidents whatever.
All the NIL money from these 4 big boys will head to Fayetteville.

Ok...but what you fail to see is that all the companies Walmart does business with....have offices in Bentonville and Fayetteville.
Walmart is going head to head with Amazon so it likes to have all its suppliers and service providers close to its HQs.
It's a big network.

Tyson, Walmart, and JB Hunt would have HUGE money for NIL.
I don't know about Tyson or Hunt, but those Walmart cheapskate China-lovin' motherfrickers? You'll be lucky to get $0.10 out of those tightwads.
Otherwise, Arkie's got some money.

Walmart the corporation has voiced support for controversial things like BLM and trannies.
They aren't the least bit worried that Ole Miss or Auburn fan would quit buying camo or fishing lures from them if they started offering NIL deals to Razorback athletes. That's just silly.

Every Walmart vendor has to have an office in NWA.
There are tons of ways to do it without it being Walmart.
The way the Hunts put this together is what Arkansas fans have been waiting for

Regarding the Waltons:
They invest primarily in Qualify of Life improvements around NWA, cultural and recreational amenities. They also focus on environmental issues both here, and in Colorado. They have spent a lot of money improving schools (and supporting charter schools) in the Mississippi Delta, both in Arkansas and Mississippi.
Two of the heirs worth $65+ Billion each, are University of Arkansas alums. Alice is not an alumnus, although she donates a lot to the University herself. The current Walmart CEO, Doug McMillian is also an Arkansas grad. He makes $22 million per year, and his current net worth is over $225 million.
Those are just the obvious ones with University of Arkansas ties. There are lots of lower-tier Walmart-related people with net worths between $10-$100 million in NWA that nobody outside of the area has ever heard of.
Our bench is deep, and our second-string donors would be starters at places like Ole Miss and State (and probably LSU).

Arkansas has been spending big money on football and basketball. I'm not surprised by this news at all. I've been saying that NIL has the potential to make very successful programs piss poor because they don't have the number of monied alums that some schools have. Look at LSU. LSU doesn't have the big money alums that Arkansas, Texas, and A&M has.

Yep. Procter & Gamble has probably 400 employees officing in Fayetteville alone, primarily to service the Walmart accounts globally. That's just one, of thousands of companies who hang a shingle here.
Many are Arkansas grads, or longtime community members who have become sidewalk fans.
