To be honest Arkansas looked a lot better tonight than I expected them to

Harris is mediocre. Don't like PGs who can't shoot in 2018. But Joe is a stud and Arkansas has enough athletes on the wings to not get embarrassed, plus Gafford.

So maybe an NIT bubble team? Better than what I expected

any Mizzou fan that criticized Mike's coaching ability after his departure to UA was written off as "jealous" and "sour grapes" which I think has proven inaccurate at this point.

Fair enough, but most of that was standard trolling when it comes to tRant. It will continue if Mike somehow makes the tourney this year.

Nonetheless, Arky can do better than Mike. He's obviously a gifted coach (UAB, returning MIZ/ARK to respectability) but has a very defined ceiling.

Agreed, Mike isn't a bad coach but he isn't a great one either.

On paper, Texas should have won by 20.

What are the expectations for arky this season?

It was an ugly as hell game, but I thought Ark looked pretty damn good at times. If they as young as portrayed, they will do okay this year.

A team that returns 4 starters shouldn't struggle with a team as young as Arkansas.

We have one returning player that has made a 3 before....he is a walk on. We are extremely young.

people have been saying that about shakas teams for 4 years, yet others still think "this is the year".

duly noted, arkansas looked good offensively when i watched, and texas (for all their troubles) has typically been in the elite category defensively under shaka.
