How underrated is this game in the craziest moments of all time. Arkansas was whipping Tennessee's arse for much of the game.
I was a young lad watching this game with a friend. This shite happened then we went back to playing Ocarina of Time after stopping at 2:30 for kickoff.
This is not a "LOL Tennessee hasn't won a natty since 98" thread. But it is weird remembering a time when Tennessee was good.

Between this play and only having to beat an overrated Florida State team 23-16 with their fourth string quarterback, the frigging Red Rooster, it was definitely a really charmed season for Tennessee. Still the champs. Still should be proud. But fat Phil made a deal with. the devil that year and Tennessee fans are still paying the price.

Part of me wants to absolutely despise him, the other part of me wants to appreciate him for stepping up and giving the SEC a real villain.

In Stoerner’s defense he threw the winning touchdown pass with 3 minutes left the next year to beat #3 Tennessee and knocked them out of a chance to repeat.
But he’ll always be remembered for that fumble. It’s the very definition of one “oh shite!” can wipe out a hundred “atta boys.”

Clint tripped over the foot of Brandon Burlsworth. That play looked like a play action pass. With 1:40 seconds left in the game and 2nd 12, shouldn't you be running the clock out?

Yeah so much playing like pussies in our less than 10 games played all year. Effin retard. We dominated the entire regular season. One effin tournament doesn't change that fact. And whopped the asses of both teams in the NC game head to head.
