Are the referees who officiate men’s basketball in the SEC crooked or incompetent?

Fouls are out of control in the SEC. Interesting that in a poll of the best officials by coaches on a CBS poll, not one SEC official listed…

After seeing some of the bad beats in SEC MBB this year, I am convinced the SEC has a satellite home office for MBB in Las Vegas.

I only bet on the NCAAT - and just the standard $50 office pool - but this season has reaffirmed that I will never bet regular season men's hoops.

It has always been heavily slanted toward the home teams.

The inconsistency of it bothers me more than how bad they favor the home teams at times.

My 5th grade English teacher's husband was the head SEC basketball referee back in the 90s

I just want you to remember my connection next time it seems like Auburn is getting favorable calls

SEC basketball officials are notoriously incompetent. They factor far too much in far too many outcomes. I’d agree they typically slant toward the home teams.

If you think about it, you’d hafta be a super dork with a little man complex to even want to be an official. That’s kinda what we have.

No such thing. There are referees that ref SEC games.

I truly wish simple semantics would improve the problem.
