They’re definitely gonna sneak ND into the Playoff, aren’t they?

Let's hope Louisville can beat them this year. Sucks Notre Dame doesn't play Michigan anymore.

I’m kinda happy about this because I was dreading the possibility of us being number 4 at South Carolina in 2 weeks. We lost as the number 4 at South Carolina in 2009 and that’s how the gay sandstorm tradition was started.

So now we’ll just be number 5

You know it.

ND can go 6-6 and will be preseason top 10 the next year.

If any 3 loss team makes the playoffs, it will be ND.

Being the #5 team is the best spot in the country with a 12 team playoff.

Hear me out: your top 4 seeds will be your P4 conference champions. We all know that all hour conferences champions will get a 1st round bye, regardless of your record. Your #4 seed conference champion will be the weakest one, either the ACC or the Big12 champion. We could ultimately see an ACC champion or Big12 champion with multiple losses not even ranked in the top 15.

The #12 seed is going to be your G5 team having to travel to the #5 teams home stadium.

Imagine you’re the #5 seed, hosting a G5 team, and then playing someone from the ACC or Big12? The #5 seed has the easiest route to the CFP championship in my opinion.

Now while it’s great to get a first round bye and to save your players from being hurt, or from the extra contact, I feel like most top 5 teams are going to blow out a G5 team anyways at home and will be able to rest starters most of 2nd half anyways.

ND has to win out to get in with 1 loss. That schedule doesn't allow for 2 losses.

Louisville and USC are their toughest remaining games.
