We played with our backup LT most of the game and Scroton still couldn’t get pressure lol
Yea, that was a big missed opportunity. For some reason our coaching staff doesn’t send Scourton to get the QB the whole time. Its head scratching.

Funny thing and absolute hindsight this morning, but if Elko kicks the field goals, and that game is 17-13. Are you feeling different or just happy to escape?
Still frustrated that it should have been 31-0 at that point.

We chose not to put points on the board (twice).
Exactly. A&M tried to lose by enough to knock them out of the top 25, so Texas could finish the regular season with 0 ranked wins.

and if my grandmother had wheels she would have been a bike

Not sure how you come to that conclusion. Do you know what narrative means? Again, you aren’t very good at this. You’re the Aggie football equivalent here.
Do you know what "if" means? You asking me to play the hypothesis of if this or that happens. If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle.
You aren't very good at this. What if little sausage had balls.................. he wouldn't be an aggie.
Poor aggie

The “Kyle Field” advantage has been the default talking point
It sure was this past week.
Aggie was playing for an SEC CG slot for the first time ever and failed to score even one lousy offensive point on their home turf against their hated instate rivals.

They say that Kyle Field is very hard to win in. And yet A&M, who plays in Kyle more than anybody, has won barely 50% of their conference games in Kyle field since joining the SEC, proving the idea that it's a hard place to win in very, very wrong.

I disagree. It remains the easiest and most consistent place to secure a reach around.

Their QB is worse than Milroe.

Kyle Field is so over hyped.

We've won there twice. LSU seems to have a real problem with getting a win at Aggy. Think they've lost the last 3 or 4 there.

One of the benefits of being a widely hated team (Longhorns) is that every away game is loud and is full of the horns down crap.
After a while you become numb to it all and just filter it out as white noise.

The crowd was electric. They did their part. The team didn't. Texas played great it is what it is.

Kyle field could be daunting, but A&M fans really don’t know how to cheer. They keep a semi loud “ooohhh” all game like a soccer fan. It truly sounds like a soccer stadium.

Good point. Most everywhere Texas goes, its the home team’s loudest game.

You are right of course, but they do have great fan support I wish we were as loud as they are. Our Stadium can get pretty loud when we play a big game but we're closer to Michigan fans than Aggie fans most of the time. I'm hoping joining the sec will improve our noise level because the games just mean that much more.
I sit Upper Deck West side and it gets really quiet up there at times.
But the horns were not intimidated. Sark deserves a lot of credit for having them ready for that environment

The stadium or atmosphere is not the problem. Both are top notch. However, they are not enough of an advantage to elevate a mediocre team to beat a very good team. That goes across the board and has been proven time and time again.

Hadn’t been to a home game in a few years but the biggest issue I had with it then was the piped in PA system. All the “commercials”, the overly loud piped in music would actually kill the crowd excited at times.

Hell, even their video field entrance introduction talks about the stadium and the volume, 12th man and so on.
They don’t have a true football pedigree and history to craft a video solely based on that.
