Honestly I think LSU is the more proven team to this point. However, A&M is playing the best ball they have in a long time and Kyle field at night is an absolute nightmare to play in as a visitor.

LSU has the talent advantage at wide receiver but A&M probably runs the ball better. Both QBs are good but A&Ms has had some questionable play of late. That said, the OL for A&M is doing well as far as protecting the QB and run blocking.

I think LSU wins this game if it wasn’t at night. But I am predicting a low scoring game. It’s going to come down to who can make field goals. Or a play on special teams.

I wanted LSU to just split the Arkansas and A&M games going in, but I feel a lot better about the A&M game after seeing our improvement against Arkansas.

LSU wins this by two scores in DV but complete toss up at Kyle.

I think it’ll be a great game too that will come down to the very end. Outside of USCw, we’ve shown that we can win those games. Hope the trend continues….

A&M 0-6 in the valley LSU 3-3 at Kyle since aggies joined SEC. Also you have like a 33% win percentage against ranked teams at home. So no it’s not a nightmare.

@bigsneezy-

I have to tell you my man…that was a terrible prediction piece with literally no substantial stats, information, trends, insight, etc

I hope you put a little more effort into the other things in your life because that sucked.

I guess being a fan/graduate of a school with a below average football program doesn’t lend itself to great insight.

Based purely on feel I think LSU has the edge. If this was in Baton Rouge, I’d say an LSU win was likely, but being at Kyle it’s almost 50-50.

Against who though? Yall squeaked by State, Arkansas, and Bowling Green, beat up on a down Missou and a bad Florida team

I guess I can try to add some value to this thread:

I think Elko has done a great job with this team, but I do believe it is a bit of a case of Fool’s Gold.

This team has more talent than he will ever have again…Jimbo left him with a team that is probably Top-5 in talent, and I don’t see Elko maintaining that level of talent.

So good luck this year because I don’t think you will ever have as much talent across the board.

I’ll say it: I like LSU in the matchup. I don’t love it as an Ag, but I worry about a few question marks on the Maroon side of the ball.

Either way, always love playing you jackalopes and hope we both beat the sips every time we are forced to play them!

Did you really think this was clever? Grow up. If you can’t contribute in a football thread, then bow out.

This is the first year I can recall where most threads between our bases have been decent. It’s a very welcomed breath of fresh air.

I have A&M by 3 unless Whit Weeks (40) for LSU goes off again like last week.

I don’t know how he could possibly replicate what he did last week, but who knows. He looked like honey badger.

But a 2nd straight SEC road game, at night, at A&M is an awful lot to overcome for LSU.

Wut.

Have you seen his 2025 and 2026 recruiting rankings?

I think its going to be similar to the Ole Miss game for us, with us being able to move the ball a little better, and you guys not leaving points out there.

It comes down to the running game. We have been shockingly decent lately at shutting down the run. If we do shut it down, 80% chance we win, if we don't and its a low scoring with you guys controlling the clock, 80% chance we lose.

And you would think it would be worse than usual, given the stakes.
