Dennis Franchione didn't think so when they met at midfield after the 2002 game. He put his finger in Nick's fragile chest and made him apologize for a pregame speech that he never gave. Every trace of testosterone ran down the outside of Saban's leg in that moment.

Saban was horrible for CFB. And it was no fault of his own, he was just too damn good.

He's pretty much responsible for the coaching carousel we see nowadays with huge contracts never being played out. Everyone, especially in the SEC, was trying to set their standards to Saban which isn't realistic.

Parity suffered immensely after he went to Bama. And on multiple occasions other teams were looked over simply because it was Bama.

He's the goat, but glad he's gone.

The meltdown from the Tide nation will be epic this year!

You will continue reminding yourselves of how good your defense used to be.

Yeah, we’ll be forced to use phrases like, ‘that little sanctimonious, sawed off, hypocrite prick’ way less.
(And, yes, before you Gumps get your panties in a knot, Saban is the GOAT, no denying that, both statements can be true at the same time.)

Wait - whut? I think you meant this for the Bama board, cause it's just BS to everybody else.
