Why did you pick a quote from a guy who is not an Aggie? Former Students on TexAgs have an Ag tag next to their name. This guy obviously went to Blinn and is just a t-shirt fan. It has been my experience that most t-shirt fans really do not have much of a clue and most of their opinions are uninformed.
Most Aggies I know are glad to be in the SEC and enjoy the competition.

The Cotton Bowl loss meant nothing for OU as it was just another game. It didn’t hinder their future. The Aggies needed every trophy they could get because there was never a guarantee they would be worth a damn the following year.

True. What hinders Oklahoma is that is a crap university in a crap state with a total population less than half of the DFW metro area. There is not tailwind to make Oklahoma competitive other than the ingrained cheating and willingness to overlook violence in the name of winning games.

If I ever go to a non-rival's fan forum, screen shot what some anonymous rando posted, and then run to another non-rival's fan forum to repost it and pretend it mean's something about an estimated half-million alumni, would someone please shoot me? I'd be too friggin worthless to justify the oxygen I consume.

Guy is obviously very misinformed, unfortunately every fanbase has a few of these.
Do note at the bottom of that post that texags has a “star feature” where you can give a blue star to posts you agree with. That post has zero which means nobody else agreed with him, so it’s not indicative of how a majority of fans on the website think.
