"COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M athletic director Scott Woodward received a call from his counterpart at Texas, Chris Del Conte, earlier this year with an offer: Would the Aggies like to play a home-and-home football series in 2022-23?
Woodward told Del Conte no thanks.
“We were already booked,” Woodward said this week in an extended visit with the Houston Chronicle. “We’re booked 10 years out. He had an opening at the time, and it suited him, but it didn’t suit us.”

I really wish we would have waited and added OU and Texas..
Texas tried to warn us..but don't worry Aggs will be in here in just a moment telling us how rich they are as a school. Funny all that money and nothing to show for it but a drunk/coke head heisman QB
Thanks for bringing so much to the SEC..

Look at Texas' home schedule. They need big-time OOC opponents like A&M.

They have two open slots for 2022/2023. Sure they play Miami, but are they really going to schedule three cupcakes for their other non-conf opponents?

Why the hell would they give props and recognition to that school? I'm sure University of Texas would love nothing more than to gravy-train SEC recognition.

Playing A&M does not do this lol. They ended up scheduling Bama instead.

And?
And you should stop being pussies.
Mostly every other SEC school plays their instate rival from a different conference. Hell even UF plays FSU and Miami in the same year sometimes.

If Mizzou wants to play KU, I say fine
If TAMU wants to play Utx, I say fine
If it is the other way around I say "F*ck em" and support my SEC brothers wishes.

Aggies always try to play like it’s the other way around.
