A&M Should be mad at their AD Alberts not Schloss

If the rumor is true, he fired Schloss's friends who were working operations in the baseball department, without consulting Schloss.
And with all the money A&M has, and the recent success of the baseball team, Alberts was stonewalling the 80 million dollar stadium renovation.
What a douche.
It makes perfect sense for Schloss to go to Austin and work with an AD that has his back

Actually it's ok to be mad at both.

If that’s true, then I can actually see the point.

Alberts didn't hire Schloss, therefore has nothing invested in his continued success. On the other hand, CDC and Schloss go back to their days at TCU.
Let's put it this way: you're in middle management trying to claw your way to the top and suddenly your boss (the one who brought you into the company) leaves for another position and some outsider comes in and is immediately your boss. Then imagine your old boss gives you a call offering not only a job, but a raise? What do you do..

Sure, but he just made the national championship match. Hire him or not, you sure as hell better support and keep him.

Wow that sounds like such a trev Alberts moving as I remember him being insufferable as an ESPN analyst

He isn't middle management though. He's the best employee your company has ever had and you better do whatever it takes to retain him.
Monumental frick up by Alberts if this is true.
