I remember watching him play and he was turned around facing his own endzone and threw a behind the back kind of pass for a gain. It was awesome. RIP Big guy

That comeback vs Arkansas, when he yelled at the crowd, "Y'all are 'bout to miss a helluva game" as they were leaving at halftime...and Arkansas wound up pulling it out after 7 overtimes. Lorenzen had no quit in him.

I was there. Rain was miserable, game was incredible.

He was my favorite QB growing up. I still think he could have been Tebow before Tebow.

He also randomly ended up being a snapchat friend....and that was cool. Can't remember how that happened

The NFL. He has a superbowl ring as a backup to Eli Manning.

I was watching it and left it on while I was working on stuff at the house in the 3rd quarter...started watching again in the 3rd quarter...one of the best games I've ever watched. He was right...it was a helluva comeback.

Didn’t he play in some football league after college?

Arena ball, I think. As I recall he won a 'ship or two, and then went into ownership/management. Teams was sucking and he put the jersey back on.

Something like that.

Didn't arkansas have a giant qb similar to him back in maybe the late 90s?

Pretty sure he has a Super Bowl ring when he was a backup for the Giants.

They had a big ol’ boy playing quarterback around 2018 or so…the Chad Morris days. He didn’t play very much though and was nothing like J Lo 22

Pretty sure he is talking about Matt Jones who played QB at Arkansas in the early 2000s and played Tight End in the NFL. He was 6'6" and around 230 or so...

I still remember one play where he had two UGA guys hanging off him but not only didn't go down but flicked his wrist and completed a pass 20 yards down the field on a rope.

That alone was incredible... but unless I remember wrong the two guys hanging on him were Charles Grant and Johnathon Sullivan, both of whom were first round NFL draft picks.
