I doubt we remain at the top of the polls when the season is over. We probably finish at 10-13.

I feel like MSU has lost too many times already to maintain (and even increase) such lofty rankings. They're good, but maybe not elite. Looks like their starting pitching isn't all it was cracked up to be.

Surprised we stayed at #2 and moved up in other rankings. I didn’t think we looked like a top 10 team overall.

Pretty much all major at large teams will be 2/3 seeds and never 4 seeds. Those slots get filled by auto bids.

It's still early March in this college baseball season. Most rankings are reactionary at this point.

We are still having problems with our pitching as of right now. I think we are good just not top five good.

Yea, only one of these teams dropped a weekend series at home (against Xavier no less), and the other is ranked.
Also, one of these teams has not won a CWS game in any of the current players' lifetimes. The other leads the entire sport in CWS wins...

Yes, we lost once out of 3 times. On the road, might I add.
Now you're an aggie, so I know counting is hard for you, but 2 wins > 1 loss. That equals a series win. Something A&M has none of against teams not named New Mexico State (a program that has won exactly 1 regional game ever) this season.
You must've missed the complete game shutout our Friday starter threw, complete with only 2 hits allowed and 14 strikeouts. But he's only going to be a first round pick, so I guess that's too garbage tier for you to pay attention to.
