This “argument” is sad. 2019 LSU beat a better version of 2020 Bama on the road in Tuscaloosa. So that in itself proves they are better. Other reasons include:
1. More top 10 wins. 7
2. More top 5 wins. 4. Beat the preseason top 4.
3. More wins
4. Playing in a normal year with full stands
5. No COVID opt outs
There are zero arguments for Bama besides the “they played an all conference schedule!”. Yeah they added Florida, South Carolina and Vandy, while dropping Southern Cal and scrubs.

Only one team was so good that it made an entire rival fanbase get on their knees and beg for the season to not count

2020 Bama was more dominant than 2019 LSU, despite being a worse team, because of how poorly teams generally navigated the pandemic. I think their dominance that year was more of a reflection of Saban’s leadership than it was an indication of the greatest roster ever, though they clearly had a strong roster even for Bama standards.
