I haven’t looked it up but then there was the Fog Bowl where you couldn’t see shite. That was a strange game.

Auburn went 11-2 along with LSU and they beat fla by 10
The west had 3 legit teams that coulda repped in the title game
Arkansas won it in a tough yr

What is up with Arkansas and choking big games on pop fly catches?
I got feelings... and you just hurt damn near every one of them.

One of the best SEC title games IMHO
Seriously? There's so many to choose from that were so much better but to each his own.

The 2006 team was the most talented Arkansas team of my lifetime.
First rounders and nfl draft picks were everywhere. Both the offense and Defense had studs.
Only one position kept us from going to the batiobal title game that year, snd it just so happened to be the most important one... QB.
Casey Dick numbers against LSU that year in LR:
3-17 for 29 yds. 1 Int, 1 TD, 2 sacks. 21 of those yds cane on one play.
The worst final drive I've ever seen.
They win the LSU game and Fish doesn't muff the punt, and they're in the Natty that year and probably beat the brakes off Ohio State and the Heisman winner* that year.
It was typical Houston Nutt though. Zero ability or develop a QB and refused to let Gus run his offense in full, and chaos behind the scenes.
For that season alone, I will never be a Nutt revisionist.

Auburn replay official ruled this a fumble.
Probably biggest play of the game.

I wonder if Arkansas would've made the BCS title game?
