Top 4 spots are Conference champs, so Oh St and Penn St can't both be in top 4. That's the first glaring issue I see with this charade of a bullshite TV show.

I think the AP polls is better than the playoff poll right now. But I like the idea of being a 10-11 seed in the playoff quite a bit so I'm not upset.

If this were the final poll the bracket would be:

1 Oregon vs Bama/ND winner
4 Boise vs BYU/Ohio State winner

2 Texas vs Ole Miss/Indiana winner
3 Miami vs PSU/UGA winner.

I feel like that would be an open path to the final 4 teams for UGA. Only OSU would have an easier path.

No way you actually want to travel to Pennsylvania to play a night game in the elements.

Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss and Texas all need to win out to preserve their spots in the playoff, which are currently Top Ten.

As for Vol fans who complain about Ole Miss being in over Tennessee, the committee only had to take a look at the opponents both teams had in common, since Ole Miss and Tennessee will not play this season. Without head-to-head, that generally reveals a lot, especially if the games are in conference.

Ole Miss beat both Georgia and Arkansas handily.

Tennessee lost to both Georgia and Arkansas.

That settles it right there. For now.

I see you just are pretending the Kentucky head to head doesn’t exist as a common opponent

Where is LSU? LSU fans were saying LSU will finish with a better record over Mizzou and be ranked higher than Mizzou after stealing Mizzou DC and DL coach. Plus stealing Texas OL coach as well.

A three loss team isn’t making the playoffs unless they are a conference champion

If the punish teams that get beat in a conference championship game, we got a whole world full of shiit coming down the tunnel. But I definitely see the playoffs going to 16 teams.

I think the #1 team should get to pick which seed they want with rankings like this..

that 5 seed is way better than that 1 seed

Ole Miss's loss to Kentucky was inexcusable and has cost Ole Miss a shot at going to Atlanta. But not the playoffs, if they win out. As for the LSU fan who pointed out that Ole Miss had lost to Kentucky (everyone out there has, BTW), and that Tennessee won against Kentucky, that would still bring the common opponents record to: 2-1, Ole Miss; 1-2 Tennessee.

2017 auburn fell behind Alabama, who they beat in the last game of the damn year because of the sec champ game loss brother

That precedent has long been set. It was retarded then but for whatever reason nobody cared….

Just a reminder that people hating on the committee, they were right last year to leave FSU out. All polls are meaningless until the last one. If you’re a team that’s mad, go out and make a statement.

I wouldn’t if I thought the team UGA was playing in that environment was actually good.

They have always punished such teams. The committee doesnt reward you for playing tough teams. They only punish you for it.
