Its going to be hard. We are so much better than last year. But the SEC has been ramping up their BB programs and is stacked now, best BB conference. Every dingle game will be tough and we need to prepare for some losses.
Fears is the real deal. But we’ll need the whole team to be ready and contribute. I think Porter is a fine coach so this conf gauntlet will be a true test of his coaching.

With 10 of the 16 conference members in the top 25, I think 9-9 in conference will easily get them into March Madness. 8-10 probably would, but based on past history, I wouldn't want to push it.

I think 9-9 is the worst we can do to make it in. Committee likes to spread invites around and can’t be trusted

Wow, now ip to #4 draft pick. But we start playing tough teams so curious how he does game after game. He did great vs Michigan.

i called it the night we beat Mich he would be a top 5 pick.. Hes not even grown yet hes gotta bulk up alot. Top 5 pick hes not coming back to OU even with NIL... Porter knows how to recruit. Porter and Venables coming to OU had very similiar bad set ups left by previous staffs. We are loaded up with Juniors and Seniors this year.

Bama game Sat is likely our first loss. Hope we win but road game vs a top team will be hard to overcome. If they somehow can then they are legit

Well, I am off the Porter bandwagon. That was a choke of epic proportions. 18 point second half lead and lost. 18 turnovers means not being coached well enough. Just flat out embarrassing.
In this year you must win home games to make the playoffs. The game was ours until we blew it down the stretch. Common them for 4 years under Moser.

I dont know what needs to happen he had success at St. Mary's. With NIL like it is I don't know who to blame. One of our players last year is one of the best players now at Kentucky. Not sure all of the blame should be on Porter.
NIL has messed a lot of things up.
Kelvin Sampson was successful at OU I wonder at times if he would have as much success back here with the way things are now.
