Wake Forest originally was in Wake Forest, NC, a suburb north of Raleigh. It was started in the 1830's as the Wake Forest Manual Labor Institute.
R.J. Reynolds wanted a university in Winston-Salem so he offered the school a new campus there and the university moved there in 1956.
Wake Forest High School uses their old football stadium as their home stadium today.

That sounds like code for "chain gang"
I think they ruled chain gangs as unconstitutional but I have a feeling if they made a comeback crime might actually drop.
