eat your damn veggies, you idiot

I don't eat veggies at all. Green beans fried in bacon grease on occasion is about it.

I do love potatoes, but they aren't very good for you. Same for corn.

Making a bowl in the middle of your mashed potatoes and putting corn and white gravy in them is really good and also really bad for you.

Your teacher was wrong you will always have a calculator with you.

Surprised none of you mentioned you would tell your younger self you won't go blind.
You heathens.

Animals mostly. I also very rarely eat anything that's processed or has preservatives in it. Can't avoid that 100% though.

For breakfast, I have some kind of combination of eggs, bacon, sausage and ham. Lately I usually have a french ham or sausage and cheese omelet. That's basically daily.

For super(lunch), I'll have chicken thighs most often. Either pan seared and oven roasted, or throw it in the rotisserie. Also throw in the occasional whole chicken in the rotisserie. Italian sausage and such in the rotisserie is also great, but you can't get those without preservatives and I'm usually too lazy to break out my grinder. This is when I most often have green beans.

Instead of fast food, I'll often go to like a Publix and buy a rotisserie chicken. Unless I'm craving some burgers etc. The chicken is also usually about 20% of the price of fast food too considering how many it feeds.

Steak is somewhat common. Also love a good roast, both pork and beef.

And for dinner I usually grab something light. I love omelets so I'll often eat a 2nd omelet. Sometimes I'll have a pizza bowl if I'm craving pizza, but again it's difficult to avoid preservatives. Maybe some more chicken or steak if I'm hungry enough.

Those are typical days. But I'll still pig out about once a week or so depending on my mood. I'm not strict on it, or forced to eat that way. On the weekends I'll often smoke some ribs, throw on the BBQ sauce and eat a big arse bowl of mac-n-cheese. Any combo with carmalized BBQ sauce and mac-n-cheese I can't resist.

My diet is about 50-60% animal fat, and the rest is protein. On a normal day, I eat less than 10 carbs. But as I say, I'm not strict or anything and if I see something I want to eat, I will eat it.

I also only drink water 95% of the time. I enjoy a Dr Pepper about once or twice a week, aka when I eat carbs.

Basically, I avoid sugar and starch carbs and preservatives as a general rule.

Football season is probably the most unhealthy season for me. All those food ads are evil. I've probably eaten out in the past 2 months more than I did the previous 8 months.

I feel great eating this way.

Like 5-6 years ago I was a bit overweight sporting the dad bod, borderline diabetic, felt like shite constantly but it was the norm and didn't even realize it. My old diet was like biscuits and gravy and that type of food for breakfast most days

Started eating this way because I'm never going to be the guy eating kale salads. I'd rather die. I was doing strict keto at first but found it's not actually needed to be so strict unless you just want to lose weight fast. Still lost the weight, reversed the glucose levels, got my A1C back in the good, problems with inflammation basically disappeared etc.

I can always tell the day after I eat crap now. I don't feel as well or have the same energy levels, which is basically how I felt every day before. Feeling that difference helps me stay on course.

Unfortunately it's not an option for most people. I work at home, and my wife doesn't work so I basically have a personal chef and I'm not on the go and in a hurry like the majority of people. I don't see how I could do it if I had a 9-5.

My doctor hates my guts(checks out right?). I think she'd kill me if she could get away with it because I don't really listen to her and tell her so.
