Clooney sent the script and a tape recorder to his uncle who ran through the lines. While set in Mississippi his character sounds like a Kentucky guy so guessing his uncle was from Kentucky.
They did well with O Brother but Tom Hanks in remake of "The Ladykillers" failed mainly because Hanks can't act (like Julia Roberts, he can play a type, but that is about it). Irma P Hall stole that movie and nailed Aunt T in "A Family Thing"

If you have a living will on file with a DNR and your wishes about pulling the plug, they have to follow the document. Problem is many do not have these in place so the family has to make the decision.

I have one in place for just such an emergency. Not only do I not want to linger I don't want to have someone in my family have to make the call to unplug me.
I'll shuffle off this mortal coil with some dignity thank you. It is why I've requested they play "Yakety Sax" as I'm dying and at my funeral.
