Did you commit any fashion crimes growing up?

One my coworkers showed me a pic of her brother from the 80s, safe to say he looked like a Rick James clone pink suit and all.
my fashion crimes
circa 1985
parachute pants and during the summer striped polo shirts, 80s style NBA short shorts and above the knee striped socks.
late80s/early 90s
neon windsuits in every loud color you can think of, yes I could've fit right in on The Sopranos.
and jam shorts
and the worst were the yellow corduroy pants and bright flannel shirts in the early. 80s
thankfully my parents weren't big on pictures when I was growing up, so no photographic evidence.

When I was a sophomore I had to wear a toga while being a server at the junior and senior prom.
I hated wearing collared shirts so other than that I just wore boots and jeans and t-shirts.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, I wore a blue leisure suit, and I frequently wore a Members Only jacket.

I was poor growing up, so had no money to commit fashion crimes.

I once wore white after labor day.

luckily we were/are hillbillies, so the worst we ever looked was just like regular hippies
jeans and t-shirts and don't/give/a/shite type long hair - we looked like Skynyrd without the ability to grown facial hair
then moving into the late 80's, buzz cuts just because, and some frat boy dress thrown in (not really much different IMO) then into the 90's, hippy look again
I don't think any of us ever had mulletts, except for one friend who loved Def Leppard - no it was two friends

Same. Thankfully I think those photos are gone.

I never had one back in the day, but I'm rockin' a sweet one now.

Nearly went this route. Dad Misanthrope intervened suggesting it might be a short lived fad only the Beatles and James Bond could afford or survive the embarrassment. Think more traditional stuff, he said.

I cringe remembering my juicy couture tracksuits. All that velour and butt letters.

That's how every dude on the Westbank of NOLA dresses now.

I am shrinking down and still committing fashion crimes.

I grew up in the 80s in gulf shores so we had the Miami vice white pants/pastel shirts and deck shoes perfected.

I have never considered it outside of being preteen in the early 2000’s . When they were actually “cool”.
