The place where you pay and get on the bus is at a large hotel located on the river in a small town. The hotel is right next to a tall bridge. The road that crosses that tall bridge is Hwy 60.
You can rent canoes there, but mostly people rent inner tubes. They have perhaps 500 inner tubes there.
Am I right? Does that sound familiar? If so, that's Van Buren, MO.

No it wasn't van buren it was further east closer to Salem home of the witch trials but I have been on the elk river which is in southwestern missouri and if you want tits this is the place to be because all of the trash from kansas city (no offense I'm from KC area) end up coming down to noel mo and getting wasted flashing tits. Another great story on this river I could tell because the fricking disc won't read on my computer so I'll take it to class in the morning and try and do it there so look out for them in the morning. Anyways Noel mo the place where a twenty four year old tried to frick me and was a complete stranger....

That's where my dad's place is. He has 40 acres of hunting land on the west side of the river, just south of Van Buren. It doesn't border the river though, unfortunately.
I've been thinking about a good story. Among my friends, my dating disasters are kind of legendary. If there's a freak within a 5 mile radius, he will find me. If he has problems of any kind, he will find me. They like to kind of live vicariously through me because most of them are married, but yet they don't often set me up because they don't think the single guys they know would be anyone I'd want to date. So a few years ago, after an epic break-up that involved me leaving a drunken arsehole in a bar 2 hours from home with no way home after he got too drunk to go home to my parents for Christmas with me (which is a whole other dating disaster story!) i went to Mardi Gras in St Louis with some friends to blow off steam. I was straight up looking for a good time with my friends, getting drunk, and avoiding men for a while.
We walked around, drank lots of hurricanes, and watched an older woman with what appeared to be her grandson in tow - flashing her ta-tas for beads, no less! Talked to lots of people, and the day was going great. And then, of course, I met a guy. He was there with friends, so was I, neither of us lived in St. Louis anymore, and our friends knew each other, so we became one big group of drunks. And he was cute. So, we start hanging out, and we're both drinking way too much, but we're not driving, so who cares?

Now,remember, I am ancient compared to most posters on here. I need a translation after house, door and maybe even, "get on the floor" but definitely am clueless regarding, "walk the dinosaur."

I will address all these questions as follows:
How did she break the news that she spent the night with another man? Apparently, we were the only ones that didn't know. It seems like it was a normal type of conversation between her and my uncle. I guess he assumed she wouldn't find strange men to sleep with during Christmas in a city 1,500 miles from home.
How did your uncle react? Seemed normal, but I think he put on a bit of a show. I really think he was trying to make it seem like she wasn't a skank/whore.

I ended up acting like I was still in college, and find myself in an alley, leaning up against a bar and making out with this guy that I really don't know, and will never see again, but he's cute, I was still a little wounded, and the hurricanes were really, really good. I hear a noise, look up....and there's one of my ex's good friends, who works for him and knows all about the ugly breakup and pretty much took my side. He laughs, walks over and gives me a hug and says "Good for you, girl!"

We once again camped right on the river and because this river was full of tits and arse we set up our camping chairs right in the water about a foot deep and watched the drunks pass us by and had the next door neighbors bringing us chis kabobs with chicken and steak, chex mix, condoms you know the usual. We're sitting along the river like it's superbowl sunday and we have the plasma screen t.v. right in front of us and even had this dumb dick say what the frick our you guys a fraternity and I was of course laughing my arse off because I was in my gold, my dip shite brother in his cream OU shirt, and all of the others in college shirts we did look like a fraternity. Anyway I have this bitch bringing me food from the next door camp site and she keeps coming up to me and only me and I'm trying to think to myself do I fricking know you. As I said she was 24 and I had just turned 18 at the time kind of a bucket list item for a guy to cross off his list having sex with an older woman. Well anyways later on in the night this girl was still drinking and set up a tight rope between the two trees and asked if I would walk across with her. I'm like I don't really feel like busting my arse but hey I'll watch you guys do it. So I watched a drunk guy make it half way across the rope before racking himself and of course I had to laugh. Later on the wasted girl kept hounding me with questions like how old are you? .... And then she's like will you walk me back to my tent and... then I was like shite this girl doesn't know what the hell she's doing but I walked back to the tent with her and she had a condom in her hand and I said do you know what you're doing? She was like yeah yeah with eyes in the back of her head, and I don't really remember much after that except that the next morning I was in my tent and she said goodbye and smiled.
