before I start falling in line with others who are ready to give up the Drink. There are just too many possibilities in front of this team still, to be totally fed up with him at this point.
A win against the Cocks opens up the door for a possible winning season, which most of us would have been ecstatic about before the season kicked off. I know it's easy to evaluate everything after each game, but I'm still focused on the big picture with this program, unless that 7th loss comes. At that point I'll pick up a pitchfork.
Rumors of Drink not being happy would evolve into contract extension talks if we end up 7-5 and headed to a bowl. I'm too old to ride the emotional roller coaster when it comes to Mizzou football. I'm more of Ferris wheel type of guy these days.

overall record doesnt mean much to me. His SEC record this year needs to be better than 3-5 for me to be happy with Drink's direction.
I think 3-5 easily gets him to next year, though, regardless of my opinions.

We shall see. There are still opportunities out there to turn this season around and inject some excitement into the fanbase going into next year.

You'll get your answer Saturday on a possible winning or even 6-6 season.
So Drink is going to beat three SEC AP-ranked (as of today) teams to close the year? ROFLMAO! I absolutely hate optimism/hope based upon nothing.
An emotional roller coaster is college football every year for every team. Grow a pair.

That's basically the point of my post. Did you feel yourself on that roller coaster as you were typing out that post?

USC and UK are maybe two of the worst ranked SEC teams I've seen in a long time. In fact, we would probably be favorited in that game if it was at home, and as of today, we would probably be favorited or toss up in the UK game. Also we don't have to beat UT to get to 6 wins? wtf you talking about.
