I'll give Drink another year (assuming he starts Horn by week 3-4-5) ...

Otherwise, let's just go grab Freeze. NIL is here. Dude knows offense and has SEC cred.

I may have had a drink or two after today's debacle ...

Hire Freeze now. Why wait? We now know what we have in Drink.

would any of his violations even be violations in todays cfb.

and only reason he got burned, was ungrateful, dumb players, and not being a football factory.

OU,Bama, etc wouldnt sniff a sanction from what he did if there.

I'd rather get the guy at SMS right now if we are going to commit to winning.

Hugh has built a semi-solid program at Liberty University. Let me repeat that... LIBERTY university.

They just beat a 2 TD favorite in UAB, 21-14 yesterday.

If nothing else, give him 3 million to be our OC with a pathway to HC and put Drink in charge of recruiting when he fails as a HC ...

Not as impressive as winning at SMS. Liberty has resources compared to their peers. SMS has jack shite and Petrino still built it up.

Petrino would be a bad look for a SEC school. Freeze would be perfect. He has that SEC vibe about him. Honestly I would keep Drink, but he has to hire an OC. He's not the offensive genius we thought he was, but the guy can recruit.

Usually I agree with you, but I don't see the connection here.

No connection. Just tongue-in-cheek mentioning the poor guy who will live with the title of the worst NE coach of all time.

I'm holding out for Ram Rod coming in another year or so.

We still agree

I’d rather give drink another year. Why not let him continue recruiting at a high level and have the cupboard full for the next guy? He could still win games with fla, usc, vandy and auburn. None of them seem like we have no chance. Plus the other 2 gimmes, that gets us to 7-5. It took stoops years to turn kentucky around. We may be a little better over the long term, but we’re no blueblood. Hugh Freeze isn’t coming here.

hugh freeze also appeals to the rednecks and rural peeps of the state, he quotes jesus, and it would drive the bible belters all giddy.

I'm done with Drink. Last year and this year's teams are the least enjoyable teams Mizzou teams that I remember since Stull.

He is outcoached in every game I've watched. His play calling is abysmal. Absolutely no offensive identity...hell, it's like they go out with some plays but no game plan.
