Padres OF Hunter Renfroe, Double-A San Antonio: 5-for-6, 2 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 4 R, 2 RBI in a doubleheader -- After falling a single short of a cycle in the first game of the twinbill, Renfroe picked up an RBI single in the second game and later added a double, giving him 12 total bases in the two games. The 23-year-old has been scorching the ball of late, owning a .400 batting average with six extra-base hits and six runs scored in his last 10 games. After posting a .492 OPS in April, Renfroe has raised it to .761 and is tied for sixth in the Texas League with 19 doubles.

If Renfroe does fail, which he won't, he can do guided hunts in Barlow. He can take the hunters to Bo's Hideaway when the sun sets.

I has no beef with coach. I like him posting to be honest. It's funny how he gets everybody riled up. He's also smart enough to leave himself outs.
So the question is, what's higher? Renfroe's batting average or Coach's predictions rate?

Renfroe doesn't need to get another hit the rest of the season, and it's still a safe call.

But coonass said he couldn't hit AA pitching and will never make it to the bigs. I won't be shocked if hunter gets called up next year

I hope this thread lives for 15+ years and is filled with All Star selections, playoff appearances, sportscenter highlights, etc. Then when Coach eventually passes away due to complications during a triple bypass operation, we can look back and remember his legacy and know that his spirit will live on in this eternal thread.
