While I think we've legitimately improved (DJ has a higher ceiling than Mertz and more big play potential, and the defense is playing with some life) I also think we've benefitted greatly by playing some terrible teams (UCF is on a 5 game losing streak and just fired their DC, Kentucky is on a 3 game losing streak and many are calling for Stoops to resign).

In short, UCF and Kentucky seem to have "gone off the rails" right before we played them and their teams are basically 2021 post-Bama Mullen where the players have basically quit and the coaches are mailing it in.

I think we've seen some slight improvement but we haven't beaten anyone with a pulse.

Even Tennessee is pretty hapless on offense overall. And we ended up losing to them despite them playing as bad as they possibly could for a good portion of that game.

I actually think UF has a chance in this game. I think Lagway's legs neutralize UGA's pass rush a bit, and I think that's the one disadvantage that UF's roster doesn't otherwise have an answer for.

Badger and Dike will be able to beat UGA's weak secondary deep, and Lagway can get the ball to those guys.

And this isn't the same UGA offense of the past few years -- Pickens, Ladd, and Bowers aren't walking through that door.

Like others, I'm not confident that we'll win because we'll pull some Napier shite, but I think it's a relatively close game. UGA isn't an elite team this season (no one is).

Most of these were already out, wait until you see the list next week, if we lose.

I think the portal will be active outbound.

Tre Wilson is likely gone imo.

Who knows who else will bail.

This team has some talent but I think they are ready to go to a team that actually competes or get a big payday from someone else.

We need to end the Napier experiment.

I think our best chance to keep the roster intact is to get rid of Billy. We are going to lose players regardless, but these guys came here to win. Keeping Billy (unless he goes something like 5-0/4-1 to end the season) means the program accepts mediocrity. Plus, we've already had players commenting and liking social media posts calling for a new coach.

And we've already had players transfer to a division rival...
