Same thing can happen to Alabama and if Florida could be competitive against Alabama then why not Georgia?

I've been squatting on this take since the game, but I think Alabama/Florida was more of an indictment against Alabama than it was a positive sign for Florida.

Kentucky doing what it did to Florida makes it seem more and more true.

Edit: before someone loses it on me, Alabama is still the standard until knocked off. I'm merely alluding to a crack in the armor.

One of the local radio guys in Little Rock stated yesterday that Ga's starting 11 on D have not been scored on this year. Pretty stout if so.

Come on! Arky just stepped out of their league.

The game was in Athens and Arky just doesn't have the team to compete against top competition away from home. Yet..

So they won't be beating Alabama, LSU, Auburn, MSU, and Ole Miss?

Georgia's biggest weakness is a coaching staff that doesn't believe in the offense. They're too conservative. Alabama's biggest problem is players that believe too much in themselves. They won't close out a game with a lead.

We needed TN, Vandy or South Carolina instead of getting UGA back to back years

Probably won’t beat Bama or Ole Miss but will beat the rest and win 8-9 games.

Get ready for Wrestling season Mizzou.

Our current 11 havent been scored on.

There was a corner, ameer speed, who gave up the lone TD to south carolina. He did start that game (he is a senior placeholder while kelee ringo works his way into the rotation. Ringo was injured all of last season. Ringo was previously the #1 cb recruit in 2020).

When speed gave up the TD, there were only 2 out of 11 starters from that south carolina game still on the field (speed being one of them).

Ringo has started the past 2 games and has yet to give up a reception all season (2 Pass Interferences against clemson and maybe 1 more since then though).

We had a td dialed up and dude dropped it in the end zone. Also missed a FG another possession. Hogs shoulda had 10 pts.

It was our first home game in Sam's tenure that had a good crowd and it hurt us.

what people are forgetting is how bad arkansas has been. these players except Grant Morgan has not seen a full road game crowd pissed. Grant was a freshman in 2015 on the road vs Ole miss. that was the last crowd like that. maybe the 2015 lsu crowd, but we filed them out early in that game. we have been so bad for so long no one has seen an opposing crowd like that. it shook this team.

So what I’m taking from all these responses is that Arky just shite the bed, and auburn is going to win. Got it. Penciling it in now.

I think our defense will do that to most teams. Not to Alabama. That might be the only offense that we struggle with. I mean, there could be a week when we have an off week.

I can see Auburn giving us a tough time.

Tank is a really good running back along with (Sorry Auburn fans, I can't remember his name) the other Freshman RB they have. I'm still not sold Nix is very good, but he can present some real problems with his running and extending plays. But he is very inconsistent passing....when he is hot he is very hard to stop, but he can go cold at a moments notice. I'm also thinking Finley is very raw....at best.

Florida also can cause problems. I just feel like our team will want a measure of revenge after last year.

I think our RBs are elite, but if your DL stops them all night, we may not have a shot

We will find out as the season unfolds but Uga is legit. Size, speed, execution. I hope we can give them a game but we won’t score conventionally and a good chance we are held scoreless as well.

Benefit of being home because weird things can happen in this game, but it’s going to be tough to score on that defense and our defense will have to play there beat game yet.

Uga can’t lose.

KJ was injured slightly.

I think KJ was fine. UGA just manhandled our OL on most plays. On the few plays that we ever git a drive going, we would kill it with penalties. That Georgia defense doesn't give up much.
