This didn’t just start 4 weeks ago. Hoke put up an article yesterday detailing Bryan Harsin talking about the WR position that spanned throughout the year.

I realize it might have been brewing, but are there examples of position coaches in college being sent packing over performance issues 4 weeks into their 1st season. I know the media is saying it wasn't something else, but anyone can see that it is odd. One has to think at some level Corn did something that crossed a line other than just not coach well.

Jboy is a clown. I can’t stand to listen to him speak. But I would like to hear him cry if anyone has the link

JBoy has a personal relationship with Corn. Probably was his source as well. At least he deleted it.

Good times...I'm not sure using that example bolsters confidence in the decision. That was the the tip of an iceberg scenario.

Want another bad example that did not end well. (Biggest difference is Hars has a guy to step in that he trust).

Tennessee’s football program hit rock bottom on Saturday, as it suffered an embarrassing loss at home against Kentucky. Things got so out of hand that Jeremy Pruitt fired one of his assistants during the game. the Volunteers fired assistant coach Jimmy Brumbaugh while the team was getting blown out by the Wildcats.

Brumbaugh joined Tennessee this year with the hope of taking the team’s defense to new heights. Four games into the season, the experienced defensive line coach is back on the open market looking for a new job.

His last message in the video to Harsin was something like: "Well you just better win buddy."

I would love to see Harsin’s real time response to this lmao

I heard there was an exchange in the locker room that led to the firing. But I just heard it from a rando that likely read it on a bama board.

If Harsin had wanted his guy in there he would have done it coming in.

Corn didn’t work out and they sit 3-1. Make a change now and try to improve the production at WR because we have to have it to compete with the SEC.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that when Corn was hired, Kiesau was still in limbo with the Boise State head coaching search. I doubt Kiesau would take a step down to a position coach if he were still in the running to be retained as Boise St's OC.

I think Corn was just a stop gap anyway. He had recruiting ties to the South. That was his only reason for being on staff. We have other coaches with ties. IMO, this is no loss whatsoever.

Didn't a lot of Auburn people want to bring him in as a DL coach?

I disagree here on the firing. What message are you sending to up and coming young coaches who want to come here? You got four weeks or you are gone? I think he should have demoted the guy and given him a chance to earn his job back or tell him start looking.

Bio on Eric Kiesau Broncosports.com Pretty impressive resume.

I'm feeling all like this. Listen as long as you like. It just gets better...

CBH will stay on the scene, and is def. on the good foot

Skip to about 11:00 to make it funky one more time, then a bit of cold sweat as an AU fan more than I care to remember, But I love me some CBH, no homo, nor anything wrong with that, etc. I also love me some JB, RIP.

TBH, I think CBH has been playing 3D chess with a lot of people for a while (not recruits). I am ALL IN. Anyone who does not believe that that man is in Auburn on a MF'ing mission....then, I don't know what to tell you. I want to see him vs Saban for the next 10 years. And then some.

War Eagle.

Another example of believing whatever you want to believe as long as it suits you. I’ve already shared my thoughts on the firing.

Whose arse is really on the line here? CBH's arse is and he has a few things to prove, andhe is going to do it his way, and he deserves every benefit of the doubt. Fired after game 4. I love it.

Whatever it was, CBH is, IMHO, as prepared as they come. No surprise at all if this wasn't the plan from the beginning. Loads of experience together, another of our daily on the field coaches is there now. Expectations are clear, for errybody.

Harsin’s prerogative. It can still be criticized though. That is what we do. I’m trying to keep an open mind here but y’all say we are overreacting when it also appears Harsin is over reacting.

Isn't it a bit premature to judge this way or that with what little we (will ever) know. Will you criticize the move IF, our receivers go for 2fiddy plus at LSU and win the game for us? I'm just saying, it is too early I think to make any judgement on the change, but it is all on Harsin, and I trust him to make the changes that need to be made. WDE. The curse ends this week (in some spectacular fashion - NO FRIGGIN IDEA. Blowout and cigars again, or...fuuck....heart attack city. Bookmark it. We pull this out somehow (from asses if necessary). Time to take some JHS Voodoo on the road with us. NOW.

NO FRIGGIN IDEA.
Me either.

However it certainly say's we're going to do things my way, be it staff as well as player, especially in light of the last minute substitutions. And he made it in ace-of-spades loud to everyone. Which if nothing else would make me want to bust arse a little harder, just knowing all spots and positions are still available, if you don't perform or the understudy can do it better.
