Did we confirm that wasn’t a predetermined throw? Whether or by play call or pre-snap read?
Harsin said there were four or fives reads on the play. That type of throw has to be a presnap read. You don’t have time to see how it develops.
My guess is it was a read Bo made but I doubt we will get a definitive answer.

If he had thrown as fast to Tank as he did to the fade route Bo would have been fine and Tank would have scored. The defender to the left of Tank was 2 steps behind. Tanks accelerates quickly, he had no chance. Any defender in front of him would not have been able to stop his momentum by the time he reaches him.
It was obvious Bo pre read and chose the play he did. Not sure why and as AA7 said we probably never will. It’s easy for us to find the open man but oh well.

If Bo chose to throw to Tank, there were defenders on that side of the ball, so Bo was going to have to break a tackle. Now I will bet on Tank one and one with any DB.
Yeah, Nix supposedly had a few options. Don’t think Tank would’ve walked in but the one defender wouldn’t have been able to stop Tank with momentum from getting in.

Just watch the play that you pointed to. Who was going to stop him?not one defender close to him as he hits the goal line. I mean it’s a moot point now obviously but the only thing that prevents the TD is a bad pass or drop.

That's not true.
Look at the presnap view. There are 2 DB defenders inside the hash mark over the slot WR. As the ball is snapped, one of the defenders is going to go with the slot WR, but the DB there waiting to see what Tank does.
It only takes another second to see that Bo's pre read decision is to go to Hudson, causes his head to already turn slightly right for him to pick up Hudson to begin to throw it that way.
That DB inside the hashmark near Tank sees the QB is turning so he kinda already knows he's not going to Tank.
Now, let's assume that Bo goes back and his decision was to throw it to Tank in the left flat. That defender will be there to try to tackle Tank as well as that outside LB that is on that side too.
Tank, if he gets the ball has a better chance to score if he can power over the DB or allude him somehow.
And I agree, I would rather Bo had put it into the hands of our best offensive player...Tank.
But you have to look at the play second by second to see that Tank is not wide open....

I see the defender and I am sticking to my story because I want to.

Now that answer I can believe and agree with.
