Ouch, not the most optimistic projections from any of these guys.

Marcello was included

Bo Nix
- needs to take the next step
- Has to demonstrate leadership
- Limited by the OL

Offense
- will be harder for defenses to dial down plays, won’t be as transparent
- wide outs are a huge question mark after turnover
- Tank gives the offense a steady hand

Defense:
- should be better than last year
- One of the best group of LBs in the country
- A lot of general praise on defense
- Mason has a challenge on getting a lot of new guys and old guys on the same page

Other
- brutal schedule
- W/L might not tell full story of improvement

All of that seems pretty fair

This isn't a knock on the video--which is pretty good despite being al.com--but it's just the same that every other season preview has said so far. Bo and OL must improve, WRs are a bunch of nobodies right now, Tank is good. D should be good.

That was a good preview and 100% accurate IMO.

That is a beautiful statement. This is what I look forward to seeing- a full college offensive playbook. Watching the predictability and staleness of the last few years has been disheartening.

I look for our guys to be competitive and physical in every game. To me, that’s a vast improvement.

Cole is always tough on Auburn. He’s tired of the mediocrity too.

Yeah, but often he is just speaking more facts more than opinion. We have a lot of fans with their heads buried deep in the sand.

As my dad used to say, they hit the nail on the head.

I dunno, I feel better about this year than Cole does. I can see AU surprising some folks and getting 9 wins. AU has a history of new coaches coming in and killing it in their first season, especially when the previous coach left talent on the roster. (Dye and Tubs were faced with total rebuilds).

People are going to get mad at Cole if he doesn’t say 15-0 every year.

He says what he actually thinks which is all you ask for out of an analyst. I don’t them to sugarcoat it and I don’t want them to have a slant against us. Cole is neither of those.

Literally not one person has gotten mad at Cole or spoken negatively of him. I don’t know a single Auburn fan that doesn’t love him.

Cole Cubelic goes out of his way to shite on Auburn so he doesnt appear biased. Not a big fan of Cubelic

I stand corrected. I just found an Auburn fan that isn’t a fan. Terrible take by the way - Cubelic shows his love for Auburn all the time. He is one of the few analysts who doesn’t pretend not to be a fan of any school ( cough cough noted Auburn alum Barrett Sallee)
