He did not have a committable offer from Texas A&M and they had stopped recruiting. Were you guys still recruiting him,? I thought you guys has stopped recruiting him as well.

He is probably top two recruits in Mississippi. Very underrated

No. Alabama was recruiting him. But I don’t think he was that high of a priority.
Alabama already has the top DT in Mississippi committed.

He was lower on A&M's list as well. We are selecting from T15 players in the country right now

I’m sure the kid is extremely talented if Bo Davis is taking him. He’s a quality DL coach.

I'm glad we got him. Seems like a better than solid pick up to me even if Alabama (huge surprise) got a better prospect.

Of what? Our DL is vastly superior. I was curious about the Bama interest

A&M is targeting DL that are significantly better across the board. All of the remaining targets are 5* players, and true difference makers. We are rotating 5* freshmen into our DL this year. That isn't cocky, it's just a fact. Alabama does the same thing.
I'm sure Bryant cannot help but improve the DL situation in Austin. Still, it is a two DL front so not sure why they need another one. Maybe they will cut a few down or move them to other positions. The best part is how the sips have been trying to paint this as a "win" over A&M. They are straight up laughing on the A&M sites.

In what way? Have you studied the longhorn DL? I’ve kept up with it because I have a friend coaching there.

In theory, we are in the mix for three of the remaining Top 15 national D Lineman.
I will believe it when I see it for any of them.
Dindy seems remotely possible considering OU is his supposed leader and his family has lived in College Station prior and is moving back there now. The Crystal Ball types indicate he is solid to OU however.
Nolan and Stewart . . . not hitting that bid.

Texas A&M DL class better than Bamas last year.
