Cracks already forming in that Pac12/Big10/ACC alliance. The PAC-12’s marquee school schedules a game against a team from the SEC the next day

Can LSU fans drink Vegas dry?

Be a great Labor Day weekend game with L.A. an hour flight away and tens of thousands of coonasses in Vegas.

It's too bad not home and home but Vegas is a great option. Good for both teams.

Vegas will never be the same once LSU shuts the place down

LSU is a national brand blue-blood, no doubt about it.

Impossible. I heard yesterday the Alliance was going to punish SEC by not scheduling.

What do you think the alliance was supposed to be?

If you. are gonna do a neutral site game, this is the way you fricking schedule. Great helmet game, but I sincerely doubt USC will be back, so LSU gets to pound the Trojans and the go crazy in sin city. Good times await for the baws.

Totally. Maybe we'll see more of this. Treat the beginning of the season like bowl games, have cities like Denver, Seattle, Chicago host in addition to the usual southern tier cities.
re LSU: The first college football game at Lambeau vs Wisconsin was another major coup.

Bowls might make a lot of money if they turn them into season openers

Now that’s an alliance

Not sure there is a better venue to start a season.

You do realize how stupid this take is, right? Their alliance didn't state that SEC schools wouldn't be scheduled. It never even hinted at it.

In fact, their alliance sounded like a nothing burger.
