Sad that you don’t think your team has had a big win since Georgia won a championship.

Probably that national championship win over Oklahoma.

It truly elevated LSU football to elite status

93 Sugar Bowl against Miami. Everyone in the country thought Miami was unbeatable.

That game was the reason Georgia played in championship. Helping the red dawgs.

One of the greatest games ever played. Combined, they had 53 wins in a row. Both teams were absolutely loaded

Doesn't matter that it was almost 100 years ago. That's the game that started the Bama train and really what would become SEC football rolling.

It was the first time a southern school got invited to the Rose Bowl. Over the next 20 years, schools that would become the SEC were invited to half of all Rose Bowls played (10).

Alabama went 4-1-1
Georgia Tech went 1-0
Georgia went 1-0
Tennessee went 0-2

After Alabama demolished USC in 1946 and raised the southern conference/SEC record to 6-3-1, it would be 72 years before they invited us back.

If only OU could have pulled it out maybe that would have short-circuited the Saban dynasty.

So that win was both good and bad for LSU. ;-)

And damn you Chuck Long for throwing the ball four consecutive plays on goal to go. LSU won most of the day but we were running on them and had them winded and Long decided to get cute.

2019 win over Clemson. LSU joined the ranks as one of the best teams in the history of college football.

Alabama 20-Washington 19
1925 Rose Bowl was Alabama’s greatest win. Brough football in the south front and center.

If this one isn’t your answer and you are an Alabama fan, you don’t know Alabama football.

Our win over Nebraska in 2000. It elevated a program that was a complete joke two years earlier into a national power. (It also underscored that our beat down of Texas was not a fluke.)

It was amazing considering how terrible we were from ‘95 - ‘98. In ‘96 after starting 0-4 was ESPN was speculating we may not win a single game. We went from laughing stock to a power in two years.

Close second was the win over FSU that same year. We were not given a chance and the defense dominated.

Plenty of other big wins but consider our struggles in the late ‘90s nothing compares with the 2000 season.

I don’t know how you could deny it. Sealed their highest finish at 4th place in 80+ years

For Auburn Oregon game 2010.

Outside of that best games this century. 2004 UT, 2005 UGA, Florida 2006, bama 2010, uga and bama 2013. All where some of the most intense nail biters

1985 SugarVols beating Vinny Testaverdes Miami Hurricanes to culminate a great season and begin a run that ended in 2007. 5 SEC titles 6 division titles, 1 official BCS title and 2 unclaimed titles (Bama would claim them).

I won big money on that game. I watched both teams all year and couldn’t understand how “experts” thought USC was that much better than Texas.
